Any skill that can not normally be used untrained may be used at a -4 penalty. A roll of 1 confers a botch and bad things will happen. Any skill used untrained may botch on a 1. Any skill with ranks may not botch.
Anything that is used as a improvised weapon confers the standard -4 penalty, and may botch on a roll of natural 1. Weapons may be used without proficiency as an improvised weapon, and still deal lethal damage.
- Swift and Immediate Actions:
Swift and immediate actions may be used at any time, out of turn sequence. Any number of immediate actions allowable (within reason) may be used, but only one swift action per turn. If you use it on your turn, you may not use another later. If you use it on someone else’s, you may not use another until your next turn comes up.
